A new 180, maybe

Post by 375Short »

Raven Rocks is a fairly new ammo / reloading supply business. Dead Nuts is a fairly new jacketed bullet maker based in Texas. Raven Rocks is the main distributor for Dead Nuts. A few months ago I began an ongoing conversation with Bill Bogner the owner of Raven Rocks concerning Dead Nuts and the production of a 180g class jacketed .357 bullet. This AM I received an email from Bill that seems very optimistic for production of that bullet. Maybe in the not too distant future we will have another 180g .357 bullet to choose from. It’s not a crowded market and production / availability often leaves a drought of the few options available. If the business model holds true bullets from Raven Rocks are very competitively priced.

Dennis I agree. That will be the next step in my quest. Everyone start sending requests on Raven Rocks web page asking for a 200g bullet for your 35 Remington , 357 max, sabot muzzleloader needs or whatever reason you can muster up for a .358, 200g bullet. That’s also not a very crowded field with availability spotty.
