Share your Accurate #2 Experience

Is anyone using ACC #2? I’m always looking for a cleaner burning and better metering alternative to Titegroup to make mouse fart loads. I’ve read Accurate’s literature and they claim AA #2 to be position insensitive. I’ve read independent reviews that compared Titegroup to AA #2 that won out with cleaner cartridges and better metering with the same accuracy.

I use it in .357 Mag with 125gr JHP/XTP - 5.0gr ~900fps

I get the black smudge area around the case mouth because it's not really sealing that great at that low pressure, but it doesn't really foul or anything.

I've never put it on paper, but I've hit 58/60 targets with it from a Rossi 92.

I got tremendous accuracy with a mouse-fart 25-20 load using 60g hornady with 3g ACC 2 and WSP. Apparently the WSP primer contributes quite a bit of “umph” because I retested using Fed SP Match and the group opened up a lot.

The powder measures superbly and Hodgdon literature says its position insensitive. NATO reloading website indicates it’s very clean burning and accurate in 9mm.

I’m a convert and will be selling my Titegroup stash.
