They only complain when
You win a match or place high in your class. It has been quite apparent lately that certain individuals have less than a competitor

Re: They only complain when
A few individuals have expressed concern to me that they felt some people were using this rule to not only be vindictive but also as a bullying tactic. It has been used selectively and not equitably which was not the intent of the rule or any rule we conform to in this sport. I felt that it needs to be addressed to the community as a whole that not only is it an unacceptable practice but also that it should cease and desist. I merely wish to bring to light that this practice has been used in the past, has been threatened in the past and that it is unacceptable to me as it should be to my fellow shooters and friends.stsbuyer wrote:James,

Dawg, face it, you are in a class of your own! If I had to shoot against you in slingshot, I'd want your mangy self promoted expeditiously! But I would be content to let it happen without resorting to finer points of the rule book.

Let's just say it has been said to me recently at a match, and that I have observed several individuals spouting how they will impose it to stop certain people from winning. Or is it just getting boring up on the porch and you decided to stir the pot so you could go a chase something

If I ever said anything about known ability I would hope that everyone within earshot would know it was just in fun. But what I don't understand about this post is for the Dawg to point at something and not just lay it on the line. Why beat arround the bush I am past worring about who may or may not win or for that matter if I upset someone with a coment. James if you have something to say go ahead and if you can't do it here call or email.

To address another part of your first post. I agree about putting new shooters in unclassified to deturmine there class. But only at a approved club match. I did not agree with the unclassified catigory in Zwolle but it was not up to me to question the match director. As far as the rules I thought that at a registered match you had to compete in the highest class if you had not classification.
Correct me if I am wrong!

PS
James to quote you

I would hope that you know me well enough that if it was you, I would have phoned or simply laughed it off, as I think I know you well enough to know you have never uttered an unkind word about anyone
