CRC Firing Line Cover ...Final update

Post by Bob Mc Alice »

My wife Sara and I spent the weekend at CRC in our camper to enjoy some shooting under the new line cover. We reopened the range to the club membership Sat. We pretty much had the place to ourselves all day Sat., only a few curious members drove in for a look. The weather was unbelieveable for this time of year in CO. Both days 73 degrees and ZERO wind. We both have cow elk tags for the Dec. late season and Sara needed some trigger time before the hunt. She shoots a .243 M70 Featherweight for deer and antelope, and a .308 M70 Featherweight for elk. (Dont question the .308 for cow elk, she is five for five with it.)
The first SB match under the new cover was this morning. Only five shooters showed up. Don't know where everyone was, but they missed IDEAL conditions. Well, our range is now complete. Hope you all enjoyed the previous reporting and pictures. Please consider putting CRC on your list of silhouette ranges to shoot at in the future..........Thanks....Bob M.

Looks really nice I am sure the shooters will enjoy the new digs. Wish my home projects came together as quickly
