SOLD - Benchrest Remington 40X .22lr with Pelican Storm IM3300
I realize this isn't the usual item for this board, but figured I may as well post it here anyhow. There are several shooters that aren't exclusive to silhouette.
This is a Remington 40X with a 26" Lilja barrel and Jewell trigger smithed by Mark Penrod. Harrel tuner, Pappas Link, and Pappas Short Slide tuners all included as well as an Mwerks bore guide with .187" rod insert. The stock is a laminated Leopard wood straightline stock with black birch and maple stripes and Ziricote buttstock made by Mike Turner at http://www.benchreststocks.com. The rifle will be shipped in a Pelican Storm IM3300 case. I don't really want to part with the case (or rifle for that matter), but I want to make sure the rifle makes it safely wherever it goes and the case is fitted to the rifle anyhow. (Scope and Ivy rod not included in sale.)
The rifle is definitely a shooter though I'm not the best driver behind it. I've managed a 250 16X on the IR50/50 target and a 2400 on the ARA target. My focus is being shifted away from pure benchrest so I'm trying to fund that effort. This is about as turnkey as it can get for a shooter. Mount a scope and you're good to go. If a buyer really wants the scope included, we can probably work something out. I'm not above offers, but I don't really want to part things out as of this time.
Rifle, case, and accessories - $̶2̶,̶5̶0̶0̶ $2,350 shipped
There are a couple of flaws in the finish from handling and such as well as a mark above the forearm from a hit coming out of a rest.
