1oz under max for Hunter Rifle class. The stock has ports in the forearm and butt for weights to adjust for total weight and fore/aft balance.
I'm leaving for the FL state match @ 9AM tomorrow and will be off line until Monday morning.

The Merrier stock is left handed, the 40X action is right handed, the H-S Precision stock is ambi.

Re: Rem40X w/VX-3EFR for Silhouette
The left handed stock, right handed action is the configuration I shoot.
I have always shot both rifle and handgun left handed. For Silhouette the right handed action is advantageous. When you put the rifle in the rest/box, you do not need to remove you hand from the rifle to reload (single shot), it allows you to look into the open action to see what you are doing as you load a new round or clear a case that has not extracted or ejected properly.

I, too, would buy it but it is just a spot out of my price range. I agree with a previous poster about lefties shooting right handed action rifles for silhouette. It becomes a very comfortable routine.
