The program and entry form for the 2016 Air Rifle Silhouette National Championships in Baton Rouge is attached. We hope everyone that shoots Air Rifles will come and enjoy a great match and some REALLY great food. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or post them up here!

Airgun nationals in Baton ROuge are 2 weeks away! It's going to be another great match!

If you plan to come and enter at the match or just haven't sent in a form yet, shoot me a message (or post here) with your classifications and squadding requests and we'll make sure you don't get stuck shooting with Pat Steiger or something bad like that. Thanks.

I've been getting lots of calls and emails asking whether Baton Rouge is above water. We are, but barely! Our friends in the northern part of the state are suffering worse than us.

The water should be all dried up and gone by match time next weekend so we are not expecting the water to affect the nationals. Everyone come on down!!!

There will be a competitor meeting on Saturday after the Open Air Rifle championship matches conclude. We will discuss, with NRA and silhouette committee representatives, the state of air rifle silhouette and plans and ideas to grow the game and perhaps make changes that could benefit participation. Please plan to stay for the meeting and have any tips that you'd like to discuss handy!

It will be worth it. Just last week we installed a new pool next to the range! It's actually more like a pond.... Or maybe a lake. Anyway, the water is a little muddy but we don't think there are any gators in it yet. The sunbathing opportunities are endless!

With I-10 shut down at the TX/LA border I hope those traveling through southeast Texas can find a manageable way to get over there. Better factor in more time to get through that mess.

Yes. The national match course is 120 shots so we shoot two 60-shot matches to get to 120.
