Re: Winter 50 foot postal
Sorry to read some of the 'old' trouble remains. CO Mike informed where I could get to the yahoo settings and even then it took several tries to get the BEAST to allow the change in spelling that it had made in the 'reply to'. I'll get back there and see if the old bug has returned. AND there is still time to get into the postal--only need to shoot the 10 targets before Apr 1st. There are 47-8 involved so far. Best wishes Roger

Edited my post to make the email addresses non-direct links.

Roger
I have not had any issues with your email since the fix we did on it. I am going to see if I can get the bounce message that acorneau receives when sending email to you. I PM'd for the information so that it is not posted here. If he can get me the information I will take a look at it and see if I can figure out what is happening.

Re: Winter 50 foot postal
Yeah, there are computers that go through the internet one page at a time and anything that follows the proper format for an email is taken in and spammed. I just created a new address for me to manage our clubs web site and I've never done anything but put it on the bottom of our webpage. I got 100 emails yesterday. *sigh* Its why we can't ever have anything nice.
I buy all my guns from t-rex. He's a small arms dealer.

Re: Winter 50 foot postal
I looked at the bounce message and the headers that Allen provided, and it looks like yahoo is blocking email from Allen's mail host.
I asked Allen to try from a different email address to see if that would go through and as of yesterday he had not received a bounce from that message.
I just sent an email to Roger to see if he received the email message from the other account.

Re: Winter 50 foot postal
No bounce back and just received a reply from Roger using that same email address from me.
HostGator is the hosting service for my website (such that it is) and main email address, but I can use the Mac.com address if that works better.
As to the postal match... I'll get another target shot tomorrow and will turn in my scores soon thereafter.

Allen,
Glad to hear that you were able to get email to and from Roger.
The reply that you received was that from the email message you sent from your mac.com mail account, or did an email from your hosted mail finally make it through to Roger?
If you continue to have issues with your hosted account I would just use the mac.com account to send to Roger for the postal match.
You may also want to check with GatorHost to see if there is something that they can do to resolve the issues with sending email to yahoo if the issue persists. Maybe they have a different outgoing server that you can use to send from.

The reply was to/from the Mac.com account. I'll send a message to HostGator to see if they can do anything about the issue between their server and Yahoo.
I'll try my regular email account one more time this afternoon. If I get another bounce/time-out message I'll just use the Mac.com email.
Thanks for your help BigMike.
