Barrel weight

Hi All,
Any chance some one might know the approximate weight of a Rem.700 varmint 7/08 barrel 24" long. NOT including the action, just the barrel.

Your in luck. I have a shot out Remington 700 blue steel 24" varmint barrel in 7-08. It weighs exactly 4.0 pounds.
