Thanks for taking the time to report back to me. I will have to save those precious jems. Even the newer old JLKs look like they are holding their own compared to Bob's bullets. I should have sent you some of my 189gr Cats and some of the 156gr Cats as well.

Forgot to add, what was Jimmy doing with his bullets that others can no longer replicate?

I'm guessing he used antimonial cores and/or thicker jackets. From a manufacturing perspective, driving down the cost of production is always an on going endeavor. One way to drive down cost when making bullets is to use thinner jackets. I believe that is what we are seeing when older bullets are tested against the newer versions.
