Wow, I didn't even know you guys had that many silhouette shooters on Vancouver Island. How much of a pain in the arse is it to take a gun from US to Canada and back? I know we have a couple shooters that come down here for cowboy lever silhouette, so I guess it's not all that big of a deal. You guys mind showing off to a foreigner sometime this year?

We have a strong group of silhouette shooters on the Island, many of us do three out of four weekends a month shooting. Nanaimo, Victoria, and Gabriola ranges work together to hold a match one Sunday a month so that they don't over-lap the other ranges.

bling

Hi Jason and Steel_Ram and any others interested
Vancouver Island matches are listed on BC Targetsports website. Just
Google BCTSA and they are all under rifle match listings. We look forward to seeing you and all who want to venture to the island.

Jason, if you want info on bringing rifles north of the 49th you may want to consult with Keith Cairns, Gary Malmberg or Loren Peter, all who
have shot in Nanaimo and attend other matches in BC on occasion. All are in Washington State.
You may even want to 'BLING' a friend . Sorry about that I had to get some bling in this message somehow.

Be great to see you guys !
Regards
Andrew Patchett

Thanks for the info. I know who Gary and Keith are. Keith was at our last match at Machias this past weekend. I know I have to have a passport to travel to Canada and back now, so I'm guessing that other restrictions might have also been added. I'll check with them. Thanks! :)

I do have a sign shop I do business with that has made decals for me with the silhoutte animals in the design. If anyone is interested, I can check with them to get pricing on the decals. Since they already have the design in their system, it may not be that expensive to get them resized.

Thanks,
Alex

There won't be anyone mistaking that first rifle for their own in the rack. :)
