There is a big match in Ridway and you all are being quiet??? Whats up?

Mary, I couldn't go to the Sierra Classic, but I did talk to Derek last night. Luke Johnston a fine young shooter won the standard rifle on Sat. I don't know what his score was.
Luke is only I think 14 or 15 years old. Also there were only 37 shooter there. The game of HP is attendance wise as low as I have ever seen it in my 29 yrs in the sport. I have been following the low attendance posts, but I really don't have any answers..Congradulations Luke .. Al Foust

Al,
Thank you for posting the information. Luke is a fine young man, and he was doing well at the nationals last year as well, I had the pleasure of spotting for him some, his methodical approach to each shot is wonderful to watch.

Luke is a gentleman and so is his Pap. Luke was shooting his beloved FWB 700 at the Olympic center in Colorado this spring so he missed some early season matches. Very cool to see him enjoy the rifle.
