OP after being off three years with injuries and still getting 20+ hits - i wouldn't complain. heck, i have no injuries and still can't get out of B class.

enjoy the fact that you can do it at all.

John,
Very well explained. I got bit hard when I started this sport. Shot 3 out of 4 weekends and sometimes 4 (sometimes all weekend). Then guilt set in because my wife and kids were home. Oldest son didn't have the desire to sfoot but then my youngest stared shooting. It was some of the most memorable times of my shooting experience and to share my passion of shooting with him, also having a very witty shooting partner, Em, added to our enjoyment.
Then I returned to school and didn't have the mental capacity to study all week and shoot on the weekends. Being away for 2 years, it's hard to get back into the swing. My mind is there but just can't seem to get the heart into it. Really miss the guys, the fun and the comradery. Met some of the most awesome people in this game. I'm not giving up yet, I have a new grandson now and I can already picture him on the firing line and see him turn around smile when he knocks down his first animal!
Hope to see veryone at Nationals!
