2011 Southern Nationals update

Post by duckgumbo »

The 2011 programs will arrive from the printer and should be in the mail by the end of the week! Robert has updated www.winnsborogunclub.com and posted the air rifle and smallbore rifle entry forms as well as the entire 2011 program. The program is a rather large file and may take a while to download if you are on a slow server.

If there are any questions, please let me know and we will try to answer them to the best of our ability (which may be as bad as our shooting ability!!

Bruce Finley is running the monthly matches on the first Saturday of each month and plans on cooking something at ech match.

Correction, Bruce is not cooking at these monthly WGC matchs. If Bruce did cook all of us that shot the April match would be dead. If anything is cooked PeeWee and Linda will be the ones to cook. Next Match Saturday May 7. Usually shoot Standard Rifle first. Then the Air Rifle of your choice. Target Air Usually. Then Lunch. Hunter Smallbore. Finishing up with Sporter and Open Air unless you give out first. It is a Marathon if you do it all five rifles in one day. I have seen some really strong shooters shoot their Sporter in the Open class also. That's a lot of cranking for one day.

We had a great turnout at the April Match. May looks to be even a better turnout as everyone approaches the Southern Nationals.
