Trent...what weather source are you finding mentioning snow? I'm seeing cold for us Southerners...40's to mid 70's, but that isn't snow weather.

Going to storm Sat. Bring your long underwear. High 60, low 43 and 60% chance of rain. Sunday should be a little warmer. Bring a heavy coat. High 71, low 47 and 0% chance of rain.

This is going to be terrible weater. I don't know how we are going to make it thru the weekend.

Weatherbug, set to Carefree Airport which is 13 miles east of Ben Avery (approx). Chances of snow are slim, but that is what they said. No matter what, it isn't what I was expecting. I was figuring on having to deal with 100 degree weather. I haven't lived in Arizona for a little over a year now and I am already used to the cooler weather here in Colorado. The whole reason I was excited to leave AZ was the heat. After 13 summers I had enough and tucked tail and ran for the hills.

Changed weather station to Anthem which is a little closer to Ben Avery and the chance of snow when away. Whew!

Trent, another Arizona silhouette rule: "Registered competitors are forbidden to look on the internet for a sneek peek at the match date forecasted weather . It may bring bad luck upon the entire match. Known violators will be subject to doing the daily lunch run for any and all hungry competitors, at said violators expense."

Just so ya know.

I looked at the weather, too. Looks perfect for a match. :-bd

So the Goatru is exempt from this rule?? :-t Or are you driving while I run in and pick up the food?

Looks like a pretty normal day for us. "Cold" and windy. :-bd I'm anxious.

The last time the nationals were held here, most of you shooters bitched about the heat. Jim is looking out for you so you will feel just fine this time.

Mary, you are right, you can't go to the CBC without taking warm clothes along. I even take the longies to Canada for their first part of July shoot.

Jerry, that weekend topped out at 114 F both days. My wife said she nearly passed out walking the quarter mile back to the camp ground. I for one am not bitching and glad for the cooler forecast.

So what your saying is that you would rather your wife freeze/drown in the pouring rain than to get roasted in the heat.

One thing I did enjoy about my 13 years in Arizona... the girls don't wear much clothing. :D

The 7-08 crowd is a little strange ane would rather freeze in the snow drift than watch girls in short shorts. Ya gotta cut them some slack. I think they suffer from brain damage, not enough sun.

It was so cold that Tressa had something on her legs this morning. That is a rare sight. According to her it has only happened 3 times in her life. x_x
