Anschutz Achiever for Samuel!!!

Post by Pete A. »

Just found one for my youngest (10) to shoot. Got it in lay away until I can pick it up next month (and slip by mom). He's been shooting a CZ Scout but the darn thing is too short for most shooting stands. I have to follow him around with a range bag to set the gun down to fit in the racks (my sore back).

Really a nice little gun; not a 54 but darn sweet. Especially for the 'budget minded dad'. His older 'bro has the 1451 which he shoots well.

I bet both will be 'AA' long long before me. Both say they are 'gunning for "Mr. Paul & Mr. Larry".

I think he can shoot it in the hunter class.

Pete, keep those kids going in this Smallbore Silhouette. My son was quite the athlete in baseball, basketball, tennis, and just about every sport but soccer. When he started shooting a quality Silhouette rifle he dropped the other sports(except for School Tennis) and concentrated on the Shooting Sports because he enjoyed it so much more. Silhouette far exceeds in many ways all the other youth sports we participated in.

Pete,
Another solution to fit a short gun on the gun racks is a piece of PVC pipe, just long enough to reach the top and wide enough to fit the barrel through. Also then you can paint and embelish this pipe so that it will be easy to find your gun in the rack. It is lighter than a range bag.

I'm confused...
Wait...
Maybe I am not.

Use aluminum extensions (conduit pipe) powdercoat to your taste and don't look back.

Good luck
