1712 Rings/Bases
Just picked up a 1712 and would like to get a set of high rings (about 1.25"). Would like to use Burris Signature Zee Rings and a base if someone can recommend.
I tried to contact Marv Pearson, for a set of his rings, both PM from here and 3 emails (ist to his old address, then found an updated address) but received no response

Re: 1712 Rings/Bases
Why not just use Burris Signature Zee Rings in "rimfire" style? I use them on my 64 action and a few other rimfire rifles. They work flawlessly. Negates the need for weaver style bases.

Thanks Trent
I've looked for Signature Zee Rings for dovetail and never found them. Just checked the Burris site, no picture but they do mention rimfire rings. Can you tell me who carries them? Not on Midway's site
Thanks
Ken

Thanks Jason
Just found them but says for 3/8" dovetail. Any thoughts on how they fit 11mm?

They worked fine on my CZ 452 Varmint with 11mm rail. They're heavy, though. I think the high ones were right at 5 ounces for the pair.

Like Jason said, they'll work just fine on an 11mm rail. They are made to fit either 11m or 3/8". If you are struggling to make weight though... these aren't the rings to go with. They are hefty, which is why I love them.

Re: 1712 Rings/Bases
I would recommend Mr. Pearsons rings. They are very nice to say the least. Light enough where I can use my sun shade.
I like the burris signatures also, they were just too heavy. I use them on my hunting rifles. They come with different side pieces for 3/8 and 11. I purchased the extra inserts so I could get the extra adjustment I needed. Wish they came with the extra inserts.

Re: 1712 Rings/Bases
Thanks for all the help. weight is not a problem, so I'll go with the burris signature rimfire rings. Jason P it was your earlier post of pictures that got me interested in Pearson rings, but as I said I've gotten no response after several attempts to make contact
