accuracy goes then what?
Once a gun no longer shoots to point of aim what do you do check first to resolve the issue? My objective adjustment on my Leupold went out of whack and that is when I wouldn't shoot to point of aim. Sent the scope in to get repaired and have them put in a target dot why they are at it. Now if that doesn't fix the issue what would you check next? The crown or what? Gun has been shooting great since I got it. It's bedded and barrel free floated. Mark X action and shilen barrel in 7-08.

There are many things to look at. Check the simple fixes first. Is any part of the trigger assembly touching your stock? Do you set into your bedding the same way every time? Shoot through a conograph to check the consistency of your loads.
Last but not least, is your barrel shot out? How many rounds are thru it? Some calabers are harder on barrels than others. I guess the 7-08 isn't too hard on them unless you are shooting hot loads.

I had the scope sent to Leupold and a new dot reticule placed. Remounted the scope and sighted it in for a match on Sunday and got second place. Needless to say, the barrel isn't shot out, which is good because I didn't want that expense. Now I just need to practice, practice, practice. This 12 oz Jard trigger is a nice touch. First time I shot the gun with that.
