Where was the USA???????

G'Day All
Well the Pacific Regional Shooting Championships has been and gone!! Australia placed well with young Matthew Everingham (who some of you might of met at Ridgway) taking top honours in the individual aggregate. It was unfortunate that no competitors from USA attended. Even though I extended an ivitation to all in my capacity as National Chairman on this forum on SEPT 12. As a member of the Pacific region we hoped you would turn up but you only have yourself to blame for letting us win by default.lol lol New Zealand sent over 4 teams and they were a mob of great people and it was a pleasure to spend a weekend with them.

The next match should be held in New Zealand in 2008 so you all have heaps of time to prepare. Hopefully this won't clash with a planed Aussie invasion of Ridgway?? for the NRA Nationals.
Tasco will be writing a full breakdown with pics here soon.

When and where in NZ, I have the ability to get around there a lot better, half kiwi. I'll try to plan an fine southern tradition invasion of the smaller islands!!!

Hmmm... New Zealand... Sounds very nice. Now if I can just work out that research fellowship to study the NZ school system... I already have an invitation to a bunny hunt, and maybe study some chickens, too, while I'm there...

How'r y'all ?

We currently shoot mostly Central North Island, Tokoroa, not far from Rotorua and Taupo, premier tourist destinations and some of the best trout fishing in the World.
(Two and a half hours South of Auckland)

We have our National Champs there this weekend, smallbore rifle and all handgun HMS.

We do 3 x 40 shots each day. Light rifle, Saturday, then Heavy, Sunday.
Just hope I last the distance.

We don't shoot any bigbore rifle silhouette here (yet !)

Sorry I couldn't make the Brisbane shoot, Juddy, but I was in hospital having some more body parts removed. Hopefully the last.

Been keeping an eye on your's and the boy's scores oh Innocent one.
Haven't you done well.

Love to get back to Winnsboro one day. Best shoot in the World.
Tell that to Greg and the NRA !!!

We look like going to Ridgway 2008 if it's there. Maybe we can organise a duel national team (aparently we can't use the term ANZAC anymore). Was impressed in the NZ team and in my usual style I tormented the S#@% out of them. All were great people and would love to shoot with them again.

Great to hear from you. Hope all is going well and that you can keep some of the body parts. Depending on when the competition is I will try to make it, the boy will be in his senior year at high school, if he makes it. He thinks Mom is too serious about school. Do keep us informed as to when on the matches, as I do not care where, I'll find someplace to hang out near by.
