Sunshine Classic New Motel and Info

Post by cwdgun »

Evewryone, Have a new motel for the classic next year. Talked to the manager at the Quality Inn which is 2 exits down from the place we use to stay at. The motel has newly been renovated (about 1 year). The rooms have new carpet, micro wave, small frig and as long as we have 15 rooms or more the rate will be $55.00 plus tax a night. It also has a mexican resturant, full bar and another resturant next to it. Also has a Cracker Barrell close by. Checxked with the police and they have had no promblems in this area. Also drove by on a saturday night and found all was quiet, no ladies of the evening, etc  :D so I don't know what some of you will do for extra entertainment :?: . Other changes to the Classic is that it will be a approved match. Friday night dinner will be free and lunches will also be free to shooters. I tried to get a state match approved but the FSSA and other members have decided not to reply to let me hold one. So I hope everyone will still come to the match. Let me know what you think. Chuck

Well Chuck, that sounds real good, I am sure that all the folks around Houston will be coming over, and pretty sure there will be another bunch from the rest of Texas.
I don't know about the few guys from Louisiana ( Winnsboro ) but it is great that you do have a bar at the motel, that would be a great reason for them not to drink all my booze.
Adios.

Chuck,
Sorry but I'm too lazy to look it up. Got a phone number and dates? I'll go ahead get a reserve now - that'll leave you only 14 to worry about.
