2010 Shooting Clinics at Tacoma Sportsman Club
I've been advised that Mr. Imas will be holding a three-day Silhouette clinic over two-weekends this spring.
3-Day Clinic Dates : Feb, 6th (after Saturday Match), 7th (Sun.), 13th (Sat.)
Sign-ups are being tracked at TSC - you can sign up at next weeks' Jan. 10th match.
--Clinic Info--
On the 6th we will begin 45 minutes after the match concludes and go for about three hours.
On the 7th we will start at 10am and go for 3 - 4 hours.
The 13th will be the same as the 7th.
--Fee--
$45 for all three days.
--Requirements--
Will need rifle, ammunition, a pen and note pad.
--Content--
The content will depend upon the mix of participants. If we have a large percentage of new shooters we will spend time on rifles, ammunition, scopes, stocks, functional/intrinsic accuracy, sighting in, match etiquette, what to do when things don't go right (somebody' shoots your animal, run out of time, hazard on range, alibi, etc.) Regardless of group we will spend a lot of time on position, hold, sight picture, trigger control, follow-thru, effective practice, mental game.
I am hoping to film folks shooting during the first session so we can take a look during the second session. No promises there. I'm hoping.
If you would like to post here and email me, I will try and get any additional persons onto the list as space allows.

Any news on the content now that there's hopefully a good idea of the mix of shooters that will be attending? I could sure use some coaching, but don't want to interrupt Dave coaching the basics for new shooters to ask about more advanced topics and advice on form/mindset.

I'd say most attendees will have a decent experience with rimfire shooting... I think over three days, if you don't get enough out of Dave, you never will!
