Louisaian State Match Update

It is with deep regret that I have to announce the movement of the Louisiana State Championship.

Due to low participation and conflicting dates with the Texas Air State Match, the match will be moved to Gonzales, LA. Gonzales is located outside of Baton Rouge and more centralized for the majority of the paid entrants. The date has also been changed to the fourth weekend, the normal match date for Gonzales.

These minor set backs will not stop us from holding future State Championships. Planning for next years match is in the works. Date and location are yet to be determined. As we do not plan on trying to compete with The Southern Nationals, we will only guarantee a fun and sociable match. We hope to be the Zwolle of smallbore. There is no way we can compete with David and his skills to negotiate for door prizes and give aways.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you. We hope you, the shooters, will understand and support us next year.

Yeah...We decided if ya'll wouldn't come to us, we would fly across the nation to ya'll. Just one question. Do you think Cali will let a bunch of God Fearing, Gun Owning, LSU TIGER LOVING Coonasses in? I mean with the LSU/USC feud and all, you might not want us there. Plus, where would get necessary supplies like grits, chicory, alligator meat, crawfish, headcheese, boudin and Louisiana Hot Sauce?

Yep, you are right about that. It would probably take us a month to drive and the food would be gone by then. And I don't think we can strap enough pelicans together to fly us all out there. I guess we'll stay here where it is safe for us.
