Re: Cowboy National Results
My wife and I shot the nationals, but it's such a laid back match I can't remember who won what!
I'm pretty sure that Lon Pennington won.
I know that the team of Joy Cox, Cathy Winstead and ( forgive me please) another lady shot the team match extremely well and the Guys from "down under" were great shots also.
The Taylor and Warren boys and girls shot very well . These kids are a class act, say yes sir and no maam and have obviously had great role models.
If you've never shot the Lever Action nationals, I encourage you to do so. The staff is fantastic and the shooters are the best folks I've ever met at a public event.
My wife is just getting started shooting ( at 50) and was at first intimidated and worried that someone would poke fun at her if she missed all 10 animals in a bank ( which she did ). She was very surprised that no one noticed her miss but cheered when she "got one". She's already looking forward to next year.
