need some help with Raton Schedule
Hey all, I have a few questions about the Nationals for Smallbore.
1. What day is the standard rifle going to be shot, or is it mixed in with Hunter class?
2. Can we get there the day before and check zeros and such?
Thanks!

See page 61 of the official program that they send you with the entry forms, (if you shot it last year), if you didn't it's as follows:
8:30 am Sunday, Aug 2, Match #1 Smallbore Rifle Silhouette
Match #1A, Smallbore Hunting Rifle Silhouette, 40 rounds fired at the conclusion of Match #1.
In other words, Heavy in the morning, Hunter in the afternoon, the same every day for three days. Then a day off, and Highpower starts....
Lots of people show up two days in advance and practice/get zeroes etc. You might have to pay a daily use fee prior to the match, or buy a Whittington membership. Your choice. Get there early and find a good spot to put your stuff......just a suggestion.
At least that's the way it's been all the times I've been there.

Re: need some help with Raton Schedule
In the past the day before the match has been consideres as part of the package as far as range fees are concerned. Any time before this and you are obligated to pay the daily range fee which will let you shoot on any available range at Whittington Center.
Looking at the schedule for the Whittington Center there will be a Schutzenfest from the 3-8th this will be on the coors range and there are usually some neat old single shots around. Then from 6-8th is the Rocky Mountain 3 gun which is a rifle, pistol, shotgun run and gun match which will use a lot of the other ranges. It should be a busy week at WC.

A bit more help if possible,
I can't find a link to the registration form for the Smallbore match at Raton. Is there a link? Gotta get my money sent in.
Thanks again all!
