Ricardo67,
Welcome to the forum and hope to see you at a competition soon. This is a great Mexican originated sport that challenges all that shoot it. It combines all the difficulties of almost all the shooting sports into one bundle, so it is always a challenge against yourself to perform better next time. Feel free to post questions and read the variety of answers that respond, but remember what works for one person may not work for the next.

Re: HI FROM MEXICO
THANK you.
About the virus problem, my gov is doing his job pretty well, WE hope this problem stop ASP.
About shooting, thats true when you say someone tecnics works for him/her but maybe not for anotherone, but you can use a litlle bit from he and little bit from her and build your own tecnic, the diffences is how to apply it.
I learn that the shooting sport is 99% mental, 1% gun and another stuff. Here in Mexico we have a problem: the cost of the guns compares whit you, but regardless many people still shooting with great results, we have a lot of great silhouettes shooters.
But let me tell you something, one of my best friends and Long Distance couch is AGUSTIN SANCHEZ JR. He knows that one of my dreams is go to the NRA Nat`l Championship not only to compite but to watch and learn the way you do your match and, obviusly, watch him to shoot.
Maybe this year but i,m not so sure.

Ricardo;
Un placer conocerle. Welcome to our web site. We know Augustin and like and respect him. It would be great if you could come to the Nationals in Raton this year. Lots of good people to meet and shoot with. I hear the border is a problem with guns and ammunition but if you are commited to coming I am sure a loaner rifle can be arranged. So come on up and proudly represent Mexico.

Mi Estimado Ricardo;
Pardone the misunderstanding. I didn't mean that you couldn't obtain the finest in arms. Rather, I was asking people I met in Raton in 2007 about attending matches in Mexico. They told me that traveling across the border with firearms and ammunition was difficult. The news these days makes it sound difficult in both directions. Come in any case. Everyone will be glad to meet you.
By the way, Anschutz are wonderful. I have a 1407 for Standard Rifle but I have been shooting my Remington exclusively for the last two years to keep the same balance and trigger.

Traveling across de the border from USA to Mex whit amunition and guns is not only difficult, is against the law of both countrys when your are not USA resident at least.
But if i want to go to USA whit my arms, i only have to ask for special permission from the gov, but its take some time.
i hope to see you in Raton.
