I recieved this letter from my sister asking for some assistance. I am now passing it on and asking the shooting community to helgp out. I realize this isn't a shooting thing but it is a way we can make a big difference. If anyone is offended by this I am sorry but I feel like this is a worthy cause and something almost everyone here would agree with. It will cost you nothing but a few moments of time and could have a huge impact on a community. Thank you

As most of you know, we live in a poor rural county. Our fire and rescue is all volunteer and funded mostly by fundraising. There is a nationwide contest for a new $200,000 fire truck. Our department, Powellsville Volunteer Fire Department has made the top 7 finalists! The winner is being chosen by online voting that ends Fri April 24 at 1pm cst
