Traveling shooters

I am coming out of semi-shooting retirement for 2009 and have sent in my entry for Texas. I am also sending in mine for the Sunshine Classic. How many are planning on attending these matches? If you want to squad with a B Class shooter, let me know.

Ducky....class B shooter my A%*, now I do plan on making PeEll and Sunshine Classic ( As well as Sunshine games -Hammy) so adding Texas will be pushing it.

Making my reservations at the Omni Hotel. 1/4 mile from range!

Just made my reservations at the Omni. The number there is 281-558-8338 if anyone is interested. Evelio did not block any rooms with any kind of a special rate, but I smooth-talked them into a AAA rate or an "old Folks AARP" rate! If a majority of shooters are staying elsewhere, let me know and I can cancel. I have been to this hotel MANY years ago when Jerry and I were traveling a lot. It is first class!

The Omni hotel is first class for sure, I have not had a chance to talk to them about a discount, but will do sometime next week and will let you all know what kind of deal I can get. Just keep in mind that this is a hotel, so if you don't want to leave your guns in the cars, you will have to parade thru the big lobby with them, it does have a nice restaurant, and a hell of a bar and swimming pool.

Kolby has his school's blessing miss a few days of school......So he'll be along too....poor kid's been under such stress at school and just turning 16 and all, he's back to shooting B class scores.....Should be really easy to beat that weekend....
