Let's drum up some suppport for Ed over at Chattanooga.
I heard Kitty, duckgumbo and dawg are all going to show up.
Well, four shooters from florida will drive there on Friday and hopefully be awake enough to shoot on saturday.
mamabear ,Innocent, KO TES( his other name is too long) and I will take waldo out for a drive and taste some local food from Chattanooga( we will make sure it is dead and cooked before we eat it, what ever it is).
Waldorf's got a new outfit for this trip. Baseball cap, flip flops, overall( no shirt), and cell phone. hope he blends in well, His ipod might be a give away.

Any speed traps in the area?

Duckgumbo and Dawg and I are road trippin, maybe some of the good ole boys from Benton would want to show up too??? Papa bear sent me a pic of Waldo, he's ready for the trip. Only thing, he dresses better than me.....But most people do anyway.......Going to be a lotta fun.....

Papabear,
Thought yousaid it'd only be 3 hours driving each for us. Must be you're startin' to figure in that Atlanta traffic.. Well we could get side tracked over to Ellijay and visit some of my cousins. But then you know what happens when you plan a family reunion at a match.
So are the Polar bears from Canada coming to Benton?

Hey John, didn't know I was in a fashion contest with Waldo, that will be tough to beat.

Ole Waldo's tough. Don't worry about a dressing competiion with Waldo, he'll never be able to pull off the bare foot shooting look that you do......His feet's too soft....As those of you who have shot with me well know, I have no sense of fashion at all.....But it makes life sooooo uncomplicated.....Very few rules to follow. Rule# 1. Khaki goes with anything. Rule #2 If it can't be washed with everything else you own, don't buy it.. Rule #3. Always consider socks optional, not mandatory. That way you can dress up or dress down with your ensemble of tee shirt and shorts just by adding the socks accessory. And then theres the sniff test we learned in college. Pick it up off the floor, sniff it, and if you can stand the smell you can wear it one more time............

Hi Guys & Gals

Verlee and I just got back last night from shooting the Sierra Classic in Ridgway. We met Shaver there and spent a couple of days on the high-power range. Proven

Gator,
You're talking drive time I was thinking, but we'll be leaving from Apopka so that cut a little off. The rates I've found at the Econo look ok, but let me know what you find.
As for your comments on fashion, coming from someone who always has something with a Gator on it at least you could break the tradition and wear a feather once in a while! What would you remember about blind dates, hell you been married forever?

Innocent (MA)

1. It is about 8 hours from Orlando to Hotlanta and a couple more to Chatt.

2. We stayed at the Econo some years ago and it was OK then. A little cowboy and probably a little more activity than up the road. Hear stuff on the TV from time to time about the area but probably OK. Not quite as upscale area as 1 exit up at Shallowford road but probably less $. I will check it out next week.

3. I was born married.

4. I am going to hate myself for this in the morning but here goes

Gator,
If the (MA) is what I think it stands for, Innocent is a nice way of saying
what my real nickname is, something about purity. So if if you think I'm not innocent... oh well.

As for feather placement, I have a nice collection of exotic, goose or chicken that we could pcik various colors from to match whatever headgear (cap or otherwise) that you are wearing. I mean we wouldn't want to be gaudy or anything but nice color coordination makes the outfit perfect. Bet we could even get Carol or Debbie to mix/match colors for you. Or even let your beautiful wife color coordinate for you.

What I really think would be a good idea for this shoot is for Papa Bear to dress just like Waldo.........Toby, you're going to have to work on a couple of phrases.......like Weeeelllll Doagies!!! Or the ever popular "Git er done" Spottin Kitty saw the pic of Waldo in his new duds and wanted to know why she has only one change of clothing and why did I make her go naked for the first 3 years she was with me...........I thnk my wife said something like that to me once upon a time........Or sombodies wife said that.......hmmmm.....don't remember......

Gator,
Weather has been nice so there is no need for feather placement elsewhere. Of course a good Seminole headband with suit you just fine.
That comes from a true Knight in shinning armour.

Came in here hunting information on the Chattanooga range. Left with that and a sore side from laughing at the feather conversation. (Gotta love the bunch involved in this sport!) Look forward to seeing everyone come to my neck of the woods. Well within an hour or so of it anyway.
