"New" Anschutz 1710D Monte Carlo only. No scope.
Fellow shooters:
On March 7, 2008 I placed an ad for my 1710D and Leupold scope.
The unit quickly sold for $1750 to a guy from NY City, but due to on-going, bureaucratic difficulty he and I experienced, the deal has fallen through.
Let me tell you: between PA and NYC, tranference of a gun would be possible if one jumps through enough hoops, and if FFL dealers, in both PA and in NYC, weren't so leery about this PA / NYC arrangement. We both tried, he in NYC and I in PA, but he finally gave up and the anticpated deal was terminated. NY state is one thing; apparently NY City is another!
All to say, the rifle, only, is yet for sale; I've decided to keep the scope, so only the rifle is to be sold. (See my ad dated 3/7 which describes the rifle's 'newness' and attributes.)
Price: First $1350 takes it. (No resident of NYC, obviously.)
For more info or complete set of pictures, please email me directly: [email protected]
Thank you.

Not sure why you had a problem with NYC. I'm in NC and have pruchased rifles from thse in PA.
If sent to a NYC FFL the buyer must pass a NICS check and the FFL must fill out a registration form and provide a bill of sale
Not very difficult, unless the buyer can't pass a NICS check

Difficulty w/ NYCity
Hi, Ken.
Right: NC and PA are no problem at all. It was NY City (the 5 boroughs) that created the hesitation here in PA, at least w/ my FFL, and the buyer was strung out w/ all the hassle he experienced on his end.

Many ca-chings to ya,
John
