I guess that was your apology and I will accept it and I also appreciate your PM; however, let me say that you should not try to get into a pissing match with me as you do not know me having only met me for a brief period of time. When we have perhaps shared a couple of brews together and you have travelled away to some other matches and seen how the F Troop is, then you can lay all the bullshit on me that you wish and maybe be admitted to F Troop! You attacked LSU colors on this forum twice with NO indication of jest!

If this was in jest, where in hell did you come up with the totalitarian dictatorship? You might not like Louisiana, but you could show a little respect for the state that invented political corruption! Hell, we had to show everyone else how it was done. Our Insurance Commissioners just did not learn properly how to stay out of prison!

Actually, I really like Lousianna and had every intention of coming to Winnsboro this year until I got reorganized into a different job. As much as I would have loved to come, taking care of my family comes first so I didn't really have the option of calling their bluff when presented with a "be here that whole week or don't come back" situation. I don't think I've ever met you in person at all and probably assumed too much with my jokes on the LSU colors. Obviously the little smiley faces weren't enough, so that's my fault. Being from LA (lower Alabama) as you said, I grew up with so many hardcore LSU fans that I thought friendly jabs from an Auburn fan would be expected. I really expected to just get an "Auburn who?" response back from you like I do from them. I'm glad I didn't use any of the ones about who the real tigers in the SEC were. The totalitarian dictatorship thing was the polar opposite of how the F Troop was being dreamed up, and had no real bearing on the conversation other than that. As for my membership in it, I think I still have at least a few years to go in this sport travelleing to the big matches before I could be considered for admission into the F Troop, so I think I'll hold off on applying for right now. Maybe if I get my way and can get transferred to anywhere from Texas over to Florida, it could get sped up a little.

I have no intentions of getting into a pissing match with you or anyone else, as I have to deal with that crap at work and don't enjoy it. Hell, I didn't intend to get into one with Marvin, but I have tried to avoid that for as long as I could. Sorry that you got brought into it, and I'm still not really sure why you were. I don't think I'm a legend in anyone's mind, and most certainly not my own. I've only been into this sport for three years now, and just now made master class in smallbore standard rifle. That ain't exactly "legend" material. I have been helped along in this sport by many I do consider to be legends and have tried to pass that help along to other shooters, but not much of it is original to me.

By your latest post, you are more insightful than I imagined. Flame off from me and have a large week as I am going to be busier than a cat licking it's ass! Will post to another new thread updates as they occur at the Southern Nats! I have to get to the Club now to make sure that Limey is not being mistaken for one of the DC guys as he had the audacity to wear and orange tee shirt this morning! Not a good idea around guys that HAVE to wear the color since they have no choice!

Keep the posts coming on Winny, and I'm surprised myself that you didn't catch on to Jason's intent in his LSU color posts, but then I was squadded with him in 2005 CBC and have spent more time in person with him than you have. Very dry sense of humor but it is there. What else can you expect from an Auburn boy? Roll Tide!
