If you can't come up with that, then go back to my CPA's favorite statement form many years of quality lab, one he learned from a German rocket scientist. "If you can't figure it out , stand on your head and look at it."

Organized Labor??? What else is he going to push, Nationalized businesses?

Mary
Politics lacks soul and logic. Kind of like the worst qualities of rockets and women without the redeeming features of either one.

Socialism at best stagnates because it does not encourage risk and Capitalism fails because too much consolidates in the hands of too few. Democracy succeeds because power is distributed among competing and overlapping groups that govern each other.

Organized labor exists to balance out managements power, not because it is inherently good. In fact, both groups are probably corrupt, but with some luck they'll rat each other out before it's too bad.

Nationalized Businesses have their place, or do you really want to contract out police, fire, army and navy? After the fine job KBR has done? If you're talking about banks and auto manufacturers, I hope we sell those stocks ASAP, but it might be awhile and in some cases never.

Don't even need that much! Liberalism is not Socialism is not Communism. Communism is an intellectualized excuse for forced confiscation and mass murder (Part of the "perfectibility of man" process) that, unlike liberal and socialist forms of government, never existed as anything more than pretense and semantic masturbation. Never mind the franchise operation that used the name, communism cannot exist because it ignores the realities of human nature, and I'll leave it to anyone interested enough to dig out the reasons why: Either you already agree with me, you will with a little bit of research, or you're a True Believer I can't persuade anyway.

And most likely, speaking from experience, it won't ever truly sink in...That's just the nature of the beast.

Excuses, 90% of failures are a due to people making excuses.

Sometimes, what sounds like an excuse is really a genuine explanation. There is a perverted satisfaction derived from a Tequila/Testosterone fueled butt kicking, even though it still hurts. No excuse - just a really dumb explanation.

BB, you should know to stay away from that cactus juice. I watched one Mexican drink two Scots under the table at Winny, never bet on another mans game....the pain isn't worth it.

I know now what I didn't know then... But hey, a scar without a story is just embarrassing, so even if you wouldn't do it again just the memory is worth a smile.
