Recognize that the poor man is engulfed in academia, I know several strong gun supporters in my town that are Demo's, only because that is the ticket that their parents ran on in the 60's and if they switched parties openly the surviving parents would.....let's not go there.

I am the rebel of the six siblings in my family registering to the "other" party as a kid.

Although I have managed to recruit several other instructors to the dark side, particularly shotgunning and cowboy action. It's fun to watch some of the more liberal professors squirm when we start talking.
