Browning 1885 High Wall .40-65 BPCR

The rifle is used but in like new condition. There are two hairline cracks in the front part of the forearm. They have been there since I purchased the rifle and have not moved since then. The barrel is a heavy 30" (1/2 octagon 1/2 round), 8 groove, 1:16 RH twist Badger barrel. Leatherwood Malcolm style 6x scope with DZ Arms mounts on a Steve Earle scope rail. Also included is the original Browning rear Soule sight with mounting screws and spirit level front sight. The sight set comes with two eyecup apertures, and a new set of Lee Shaver front sight inserts. Eyecup aperture (hole) sizes are 0.050” and 0.070”. A photocopy of the rifle owner’s manual and sight manual will be included. The trigger has had the Lee Shaver sear installed. I am also including my copy of Wayne McLarran’s excellent book, “Browning Model 1885 BPCR, 2nd Edition.

The attached PDF is probably my best target with this rifle, putting 7 rounds in about 2 inches at 200 meters.

Other Included Items:
Redding 40-65 Dies
Starline brass – 33 new, 89 fired
1 Lyman Snover mould w/handles
1 RCBS BPS mould w/handles
1 Lyman 40 cal neck sizer die

$2,100.00 plus shipping to the lower 48, including CA.
I only ship USPS Priority insured mail and since this is a heavy item, and will need to ship in 2 or 3 packages, I would estimate the shipping to be at least $50.00 - $60.00.

Not included but for sale: I also have an RCBS Black Powder Measure that can be purchased for an additional $100.00. ($150 retail)

Will post pics as soon as weather improves and I can get some good outdoor light.
