I've been reading, studying, and daydreaming about smallbore silhouette shooting long enough. I plan to shoot my first match next Sunday (Feb 5th). I recently bought a CZ-452 Varmint, and just took delivery of a Weaver KT15 today. I should receive scope bases and burris signature zee rings by friday.

What are your impressions of the KT15? I know it's not a real high-end scope, but I am sure that it will not be the limiting factor in my performance. (The loose nut behind the trigger will be the limiting factor).

Anyway, I just had to share, I feel like a 5-year old at Christmas time.

It should do fine.
I've used a V16 for both SB and Air Rifle without problems.

I like the KT-15 just fine. I have 2 of them. Mine are repeatable and very clear.

You'll have to spend $400 to go the next step up into a 6-24 variable. Even then, you really won't shoot that much better.
