I was out at CRC practicing again today. Kinda windy just like AZ was last weekend. I took this picture of some recent damage to our heavy gauge steel gutters on the silhouette line cover. Guess who will be the one that has to repair it.

Bob that is obviously a meteorite hole. Or does the forensics say its from a 7-08?

Looks like someone dialed in a little to much elevation for the rams.

Dee, at first I thought Bonner did this. But forensic guessing is pointing towards a bumbling regular club member. Unfortunately, we have to share this range with them. The damage is centered over one of the concrete bench rest tables well away from the silhouette stations. Damn stool shooters. Looks like a tube of silicone sealer will fix it right up. While up on the roof last visit I noticed three exit holes in random locations, too.

Bob, now you see why we insist that no muzzle is pointed over the backstop especially with a finger in the trigger guard. Next time you're up I'll show you some muzzle art on our range....some contributed by a master

I was always taught since a youngster that your finger never goes to the trigger until the sights are on the target. Perhaps some people need some lessons on HOW TO SHOOT! The muzzle pointing over the backstop isn't the problem. The idiots with their fingers on the trigger pointing the muzzle over the backstop is the problem.
