What a beautiful range! For those that missed it (malinios!) the match had perfect weather, great target setters/chefs and top notch stat shack and some great door prizes, including 10 bricks of ammo from Laupa (thanks Adam) and several bottles of locally made rum (yum!) and other great prizes, like my fishing pole for when I can't shoot''em down.
Congratulations to Kid Culpepper for his clean weep of both standard and hunting rifle, with several 10 in a rows towards his grand slams.
A big thank you Bill, Karen and Carol (and all the behind the scenes helpers boy scouts etc.) for hosting a smooth enjoyable match. A definite match for your schedule.

I agree with you on every item you mentioned! Especially with the well run match!!! Thanks to ALL the folks that put in long hours to make everything go smoothly for those of us who just got to show up and shoot!!!

We had a good crowd, too bad others could not make it.
Prizes were good and I'm looking forward to my Georgia Rum! Great prize!

This was a great match!! The weather was nice and only slightly breezy on Sunday afternoon. Tons of smiles despite all the grumbling about people not shooting as well as they wanted (me included!). Was just a well put together match.

Sounds like the weather was a little better than in Arizona, glad you guys had fun down in good ole joeja!!!

It was a great match. Thanks to all for their hard work. I had a great time and will be back next year.

I'd like to go to this match next year and I can probably bring some other shooters from Louisiana with me. Can I put in a request that you guys try to have it on a weekend that doesn't conflict with the Mid-South Regaional? (I know there are range availability restrictions and other considerations)

Dustin, put in your request but Georgia is one of the states that has the state associations 'blessing' for the match and it may be held on any of at least three ranges that I can think of. Granted all three are great, just plain true Southern hospitality. If you ever get a chance to shoot at any of the three ranges, do it, you will enjoy each of them in their own unique ways.

Thanks Mary...I got switched to 2 and 4 th week ends off....I am stuck til I can switch it back....to the 1 and 3rd week ends off which is more compatible with the matches near by. I am looking for hp or sb matches held on the 2nd and 4th weekends... I was all set to go when they switch me...
