We are 58 days away from the 2014 Louisiana Smallbore Championships. Now is the time to get your entry in. The first 20 entries are guaranteed to have ideal shooting conditions and temperatures. Alright, that's a lie. It'll probably be unbearably hot, but, I can guarantee you will be fed well! There will be good friends and good times had.

Hope to see y'all there,

It was a great weekend of shooting. I don't think we've ever had a state championship where a different shooter won each of the four matches. Also had a bunch of different conditions to deal with: wind, rain, low light, sunlight, heat, Pat annoyance. Lots of fun! Thank you to all the shooters that traveled to shoot with us!

We are going to keep working on the Iron Sights competition. I've got my Iron Sights state championship award proudly displayed on my shelf and have attached a picture for everyone to enjoy. It's not everyday I get an award from the President of the United States himself!

While I accept the thanks and praise for the match, it's really the shooters who come that make the match. Without your participation this would be just a couple of guys scratchin' their butts and spewing multiple loads of manure waiting for some food to get served. With y'all, we get a bunch of guys spewing PASTURES of manure waiting for the food to get served. =))

In all seriousness, we really do appreciate those who travel multiple hours to come shoot with us. ^:)^ This was our largest turnout to date. 33 shooters for the standard gun and 32 shooters for the hunter gun. We hope all will attend again next year. Please bring some friends to come shoot with us. We may not be the biggest, but, we'll damn sure feed you!

Many thanks again,
Eric "Mr. Mongo" Harper

Dustin,
BO sent me a message. He says that you are not a loyal drinker of the Kool-Aid. You must surrender your title.
