It was hard to tell if it was a center hit or a miss by inches.

Looks like they need to adjust their zero. Maybe they left it on rams while they are shooting those chickens?

I was wondering the same thing. I do not know much about whirlybirds but it looks like they had the 30 chain gun set for a sub-six hold. Maybe they shot AP for a hobby. Whatever rockets they were using were dead on. The rockets had to be guided. I liked the spotting language. Reminded me of a good silhouette spotter. Nice and calm with the only purpose being to help the shooter make the shot. After a good burst, "Nice. Now a few feet left. Nice. A few feet down now." Good shooting and spotting for being in pitch black darkness with FLIR. The enemy combatants jumping in and out of holes and behind trees and rocks trying to escape the FLIR made this a very interesting video.

Chain guns suffer from wind drift too! But when you are using 30mm depleted uranium exploding tips close is usually good enough. Wonder how far they actually were from the targets? Loved the comments they were making as they went along picking them off. My guess is they don't show these clips at the terrorists training camps to new recruits

Actually I didn't think they were whirlybirds. The images don't move enough. I think that was an AC130 spectre gunship (puff the magic dragon). You can see they are in a slow left hand bank. if you watch carefully. Also the enemy had no idea they were there. They would have been running from an apache, its pretty obvious when they are in the area. Spectre runs at 10,000 feet and isn't so obvious. Either way, kool video.

They were AH-64 Apache Helicopters probably hovering, bobbing and weaving in any direction to locate targets. Enemy was moving, running and hopping around like bunny rabbits. Credits identify the Apache group. Not need to identify them on an open forum. A group of Blackhawk guys went over a few years ago and they let us know that they could not get good gloves issued. They said their hands were so cold at that altitude that they could not function. They could not just use any gloves because regulations said they had to have a certain fire rating. Everyone at our church and several churches in our area bought the correct spec gloves they could not aquire and shipped them to their base over there.
