Which one? Pachmayr or kick-ezz?

I like kick-ezz.

I put a Limbsaver on my 336. It does help with recoil, I guess, but I mostly put it on there to make the length of pull longer. I never think about recoil in matches, even with ram loads, so I guess it does its job very well.

Hmmmm... 3 differnt people, 3 different brands.... looks like a consensus to me....

This butt pad was made by Garold Hayler from a rubber sandal. It's cheap, functional, and attractive, kind of like us.
