just wanted to let you know, i had a glass of cool aid and purchased a remington 700, in 7mm-08. now off to the high power range. also picked up some hornady 308 match to neck down. most likely shoot some hornady sst's of 139 and 154.

7mm-08 is good koolaid.....

If you're gonna drink koolaid, 7-08 is a pretty good flavor. Goes down smooth and refreshing.

Seriously, good purchase dan222, congrats. Was it an SPS blue or stainless? Got any upgrade plans ? What optics will you be using? I am sure you already know what components will bring out the best in a 7-08. Good luck with it and keep us posted on your progress.

yes mary i did get your last pm, thank you. bob m, yes it is a sps, hard to find a 24" barrel. have a older 12x target leupold on it now, and necked up( can i say it) my old 260 brass using some varget and hornady 139's,
not trying for full force ram busters. thanks for the support.....dan

Just drank some more cool aid, and I purchased a Remington 700 SPS SS in 7mm-08 for my nephew to go along with his new CZ 455 American. He is right! You can't have too many guns.
