CZ 452 Varmint Accuracy Expectations

What kind of accuracy can one expect from the bench with a CZ452 Varmint .22 that's properly set up and with a good ammo it likes I have one and have'nt set it up yet,thanks in advance

Mine will make one-hole groups at 50 yards with Wolf ammo. Maybe .26". At 100 yards it opens up to a nickel size groups. At 200 yards I can keep them inside the small Shoot N See targets - 3" I think.

If your 5 shot group is 1 1/4 min or less, be happy. Some will show you little bitty groups they shot but it's not what they normaly do.

I was hoping for consistent 1/2" at 50 with good ammo and with the trigger lightened,the few people I have talked to online about them suggest removing the barrel lug and screw for best results

Don't wast your time at 50 yds. Most ammo will group at that distance but things are really different at 100 meters.

I agree - you want to know what your rifle/ammo combo will do at 100 yards.

Here is a photo of a recent outing with my well-tuned CZ 452 Varmint and Wolf ammo - 10 shots from a bench -Wish I could shoot this well offhand.
