What is a good starting point for the Torque, in inch lbs for the action screws on a 54.18 in Pharr stock?
Thanks

Thank you sir. I wish I had an Anschutz torque wrench. The only one I have measures in Inch pounds. Have any idea what that equates to?

It's right at 40. I'd start about half that but that is just me. My factory and pillared Pharr I run at 20 inch pounds and they shoot lights out.

YMMV.

Thank you. I was pimping my ride, as it where. Was putting it back together, got to wondering about the torque on the actions screws. I was reading Kitty's post the other day about how sensitive some can be. Mine isn't shooting quite as good as I think it can at Rams. Shoots pretty much one hole + at 50 with rifle match. Thought I might play with the tension some. See if I could get it a little better way out there. Thanks for you info.
