I own a Cooper model 36 that I was going to pick up some extra magazines for. The previous owner of the rifle told me that certain model Savage magazines will work but he said he had forgotten what model. Can anyone tell me if this is true and if so what are the model numbers ?

Same ones that fit in the Anschutz but they take about 5 minutes modification.
Go to Brownells, and look for the Savage 22 long rifle 5 shot Mag. it is the only one they list.
