I should be rolling in sometime around 1:00 or 2:00pm tomorrow afternoon. Let's gather up a group to go somewhere for dinner, since we'll be having dinner at the school for the door prize dinner on Saturday night and most will be heading for home on Sunday night.

Make sure to pack your long underwear.. it's going to be chilly!

Have to admit, one of the most enjoyable aspects of the Conard (for us natives) is watching the southern shooters shiver, and listening to them moan and gritch! Lol..... (with all due respect to our Southern cousins, of course!)...

Oh, I've been down there! Motorcycled the Natchez Trace....in July! Just about boiled myself to death in my own sweat, I did! Gotta be tough to live down there, and I ain't up to it! Different strokes for different folks, sure....

But my wife and I have motorcycled down there several times, and I almost became a Texan by choice while serving two years in the Army at old Ft. Wolters (Mineral Wells)....but the army screwed up my plans and sent me back to the northwest at Ft. Lewis, and then on to Vietnam...... the army seemed to have a way of messing up my plans! Good at it, they were! But wife and I have always felt comfortable down there -- if a bit sweaty....

Yeah, all the services have a tendency to do that don't they.

Don't forget to show off that new rifle once Steve gets it all buttoned up!
