for a junior outgrowing his simmons. He is saving his money...looking for a 6-18 or 6.5X20 Leupy, or possibly a Weaver T24. Let me know what you might have available.
Thanks

Mary -
I have a Bushnell Scopechief 6-20x40 that is a very bright, clear scope and is in excellent condition - the only flaw is a small dent in one of the turret caps. No ring marks and the optical surfaces are flawless. Matt black, focuses down to 10 yards and has focus indicators for 40, 60, 77 and 100 yards. It's a duplex reticle. I believe that it can be converted to a target dot by the company that does that (can't recall who that is at the moment). Pictures - mounted on a CZ 452 Varmint and a couple of others, last one shows that small dent in the cap.
I have too many scopes and not enough rifles. This is an older scope, but it's excellent quality and condition - should work well for your young shooter. I believe the elevation and windage adjustments are 1/4 MOA.
How does $180 shipped sound?

Pete, nice looking rig, so far his father is interested in investing in something he intends to carry on into hunting as well so he is sticking with Leupold or maybe Weaver, he is tending towards a variable.
Thank you for offering.

Is the scope needed for a HP or smallbore rifle...?

In silhouette, smallbore, but he has a 243 that he hunts with.
