I came across this rifle and bought it for the action, but when I realized it's a 1962 production rifle in great condition I hesitate to cannabilize it for a build.

So here it is -
.243 Carbine length barrel with original sights. Really clean and in excellent condition for a 50 year old rifle! I've shown the worse cosmetic blemish in a photo. I think the only modification was the removal of the metal butt plate and replacement with recoil pad. The stock shows some condition that you can see in the photographs. I'm only going to post 4 photos, but more are available. One of these recently sold on gunbroker in the less desireable 30-06 in worse condition for $750 + shipping. But hey, that's gunbroker.

I'd like to get $650 that includes shipping to your FFL. I can sweeten the deal with the Bushnell Scopechief 3-9 that was on the rifle when I bought it!
