2013 NC State Championship Tournament will be hosted by the Asheville Rifle & Pistol Club on May 4 & 5

The general schedule is as follows:
2 40-shot matches each day
Friday, May 3 - Practice 12 - 6
Saturday, May 4 - Practice 8-8:45 - Match 9:00 - Lunch about Noon - then the 2nd match of the day
Sunday, May 5 - same schedule

Each day prizes will be awarded for that day's aggregate scores which determine the State Champ (must be NC resident), Open Champ, class winners, special category winners and high animal winners!

Please come to the mountains of Western North Carolina this Spring and enjoy the re-inauguration of the State match at ARPC!!!
Tell your friends, but better yet, BRING your friends to the match!

There was some good shooting in spite of the weather. Of course we all have to thank those Target Setters who had to go out in the conditions and reset so we could try and knock them down again!

Rain and COLD and more of each plagued the match both days! Seems like this type of weather has followed the Silhouette State Champion circuit in the Southeast this early season. Someone needs to break the trend.

I learned a lot from putting on my 1st State Match - pick better weather! I want to thank all the folks who came out to support this match - the competitors, the spouses, the RSOs and the Target Setters. I also want to give a special thanks to our Sponsors who gave 3 cases of ammo, and other items as well, to use a prizes for the participants! These day's that represents a big chunk of money!

Thanks to all who turned out and helped put on the match - couldn't have done it without both groups of folks!

Great match, a little damp. Didn't place this time, but had a great time anyway. My wife and I are going to spend a little extra time here in Asheville.

SP14...it has been damp here in FL as well. There were some lakes at Hollywood.
