Mounted my new to me Leupold 6.5-20X40 EFR and headed to the range to shoot today.
It was a beautiful day for shooting those little metal animals.
Little to no wind all morning. Overcast but at least no sun glare right in my face.
Setup all my animals
Put on my vest and set my timer.
scored 22 in my practice "match".

Reset the animals got 10 in a Row on the pigs. ( how come I have not managed to do that in a match)
Did well on the other animals also but did not keep scope for that practice "match"

Hope everyone else had a nice day also.

You're making great progress advancing up through the skill levels, Mike. :-bd Good equipment does make a difference.

No hijack intended, but we also had great conditions practicing HP out at CRC yesterday, too. We had seven guys along with a half dozen club members using the range along side us. We set up all the animals twice just knocking them down L to R one shot each. We kicked in a buck each bank of animals for last animal down wins the pot. Talk about fun. 8) I blew a money shot with a thin edge hit. :( The pig pivoted and did a slow 120 degree turn, white to black and stood. Show off Scotty threaded the needle and slipped a .30 cal. MK into him and won the seven bucks. :)

Thanks Bob,

One of these days soon I am going to put it all together in a match.
Sounds like you guys had a lot of fun with highpower yesterday.

Congratulations to Big Mike and Dan, both shot 28's on sunday, you guys are going to make me practice before next months match. Nice to see you both doing well, I hope you both make it to AAA this year. Next time they have nationals at Raton the Colorado contingency could be tough to beat! 5 or 6 masters and the same number of AAA shooters.

Thanks Kevin,
Dan and I both Shot well, Big John is shooting really well also , I think that he shot a 17 and an 18 Sunday.
I am working on making into AAA, I would really like to make it into AAA this year with both guns, even though I shoot the same rifle for both by scores in the second match of the a day are normally a little lower than the first match I think mostly because my back gets tightened up, so Trying to work on that. Sunday I shot a 29 in the 1st and a 24 in the 2nd.
