I'd like to replace the single stage stock trigger on a Savage Anschutz 164 (I believe it's the same trigger as on older 64 targets).

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to replace this trigger with perhaps a 5022 or 5418 trigger? Hopefully a drop in or any other suggestions

Yes it is possible. I recently sent a Match 64C to Ten Ring for head space issues. He commented an upgrade trigger could be installed for around $300. Steve did not specify which trigger though.
