The Louisiana Cowboy Lever Action Silhouette Championship will be held on December 15-16, 2012 at the St. Bernard Pistol & Rifle Range in Chalmette, LA.

The championship will consist of a 120-shot centerfire CLA match, a 40-shot Pistol Cartridge CLA match and a 40-shot Smallbore Cowboy Rifle match.

The TENTATIVE schedule is as follows:

Saturday:
8:00 - 9:00 AM - registration and rifle certification
9:00 - 9:45 AM - warmup/practice
10:00 AM - 60-shot centerfire CLA match & 40-shot pistol cartridge match

Sunday:
8:00 - 9:00 AM - registration and rifle certification
9:00 - 9:45 AM - warmup/practice
10:00 AM - 60-shot centerfire CLA match & 40-shot smallbore cowboy rifle match

State championship awards will be given for CLA, PCCLA, SBCR and aggregate. Awards will be given 3 deep for each class.

Registration forms will be posted here ASAP. The match will be limited to the first 48 shooters entered.

The temps got up to the mid 70's. Most of us were shooting in short sleeves. Probably warmer than Pa. We'll have a spot for you next year.

Dustin, A friend and myself have been trying to find A shoot thhat is not to far away that we can go to in the winter months. This sure sounds like the one for us. Thanks Mike

It was a remarkably great group of friendly shooters, who readily shared their knowledge and stories! Glad I went and looking forward to seeing them again in Benton, AR in April, and next year back in Louisiana.

When and where will the TX State small bore match? Maybe we'll see them there too.
